Hilary Landfried

Hilary Landfried is a senior strategist with over a decade of experience leading multi-stakeholder coalitions to design $1.7 billion in climate adaptation, mitigation, and food security programs. She specializes in inclusive, participatory processes, systems thinking, and strategic foresight for global governance and policy-making.

Previously, Hilary was a Design and Strategy Advisor at the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance, where she advised and led teams on strategic planning and project development for multi-year emergencies and food security programs. She also worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service, leading regenerative agriculture and natural resources management programs in Tanzania, Kenya, and Pakistan. She consulted for the OECD's Secretary General's Office Strategic Foresight Unit and was a Fellow for the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island Tribal Government.

Hilary began her career promoting renewable fuels for household energy in East Africa and the Caribbean and has a Masters in Public Affairs from Princeton University.
